Victor Porras called his daughter in San Antonio and on August 16, three days later, she was reported missing. Irene's purse and cell phone were not at the home, but vehicles were not taken and there was no forced entry into the home.
Construction workers found her cell phone about a week later on the side of the road approximately 17 miles from her home. No other items belonging to Irene Porras have been found, despite the efforts of Texas Equusearch who conducted ground searches starting on August 28.
Investigators believe there may be criminal activity related to her disappearance, but have not indicated what type of criminal activity, and are asking the public's aid in finding information and locating the whereabouts of Irene Porras.
She is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and has brown hair and brown eyes.
